Core Concepts
In Sufi understanding, divine love (ishq) is the highest form of spiritual attainment. It is not mere emotion, but a transformative force that annihilates the ego and unites the soul with God.
Rumi teaches: "Love is the cure, for your pain will keep giving birth to more pain until your eyes constantly exhale love, as effortlessly as your body yields its scent."
This love is unconditional, flowing from God to creation and back to God. It transcends religious boundaries and human limitations.
Key Insight
"Love is not something you find; it is something that finds you when the heart is ready."
